There are new chapters on the Poor and Corn Laws. In at the height of his success Robert Owen addressed the House of Commons, speaking on his methods and ideas.
Owen had disagreed with Malthus' theories of population. In Owen had come to America and purchased what became New harmony, a communal society experiment.
